Sean Hanley is a Director at Pickering Energy Partners (PEP), specializing in ESG Advisory. He joins PEP after spending five and a half years at Nasdaq, where he was strategically leveraged in Listing discussions as a “Subject Matter Expert” discussing ESG trends and best practices. He also ran a multi-million-dollar book of advisory business leading corporate clients in all sectors and market caps on Investor Relations best practices, corporate governance, capital deployment, activism, proxy voting, corporate spin-offs, as well as assisting with ESG investing and disclosure. Sean brings a vast amount of experience advising Boards and Senior Management Teams on ESG scores, rating agencies, frameworks, messaging, and disclosure in relation to enhancing enterprise value and overall brand and reputation management.
Prior to joining Nasdaq, Sean led a trading desk for Manning & Napier’s Alternative Asset Management Strategy. The global-macro fund specialized in managing a portfolio of exchange traded futures, specifically focused on Global Treasuries, Commodities, Currencies, and Equity Indexes.
Sean holds a BA in Economics from The University of Chicago and MBA in Corporate Finance and Investments from University of Notre Dame.
