Shanker Nair is an Associate for Advisory at Pickering Energy Partners (PEP).
Prior to joining PEP, Shanker spent over a decade at Apache Corporation as a Senior Reservoir Engineer, leading full-cycle upstream asset development, basin studies, reserves evaluation, and production and frac program optimization, while supporting A&D transactions and managing JV collaboration across several U.S. unconventional and international conventional assets.
Earlier in his career, he progressed from Field Engineer to District Engineer at Liberty Energy, supporting hydraulic fracturing operations across several major U.S. basins. Before entering the oil and gas industry, Shanker worked as a Chemical Process Engineer in Austria, China, and India.
Shanker is completing his MBA at Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business. He also holds an MS in Petroleum Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining & Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from VTU, Bangalore.
