Daniel Hwang is an Associate for Advisory at Pickering Energy Partners (PEP).
Prior to joining PEP, Daniel spent nearly a decade as a Finance Manager in the commercial real estate sector, leading FP&A, valuation, and capital budgeting. He also led counterparty negotiations and deal structuring for non-traditional capital stacks—including state and federal tax equity transactions. Earlier in his career, he served as an Economic Analyst at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, assessing fiscal impacts of state subsidies for large-scale industrial projects.
Daniel holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Rice University, where he was awarded the Jones Scholar Award for leadership and academic excellence.
