We are seeking a highly qualified Equity Capital Markets (ECM) professional with expertise in the Energy Transition sector to join our team. As the ECM Vice President/Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and corporates, focusing on the rapidly evolving Energy Transition sector. Your responsibilities will include market intelligence gathering, client relationship cultivation, content creation, and market outreach.
Work involves daily interaction with institutional clients as well as corporates to cultivate market intelligence and curate sales relationships and outreach.
ECM Sales: Will be primary point alongside senior members of the Research team to distribute/sell ECM transactions, working PEP to more senior roles in the underwritings.
Responsibilities will include working alongside the Investment Banking (IB) teams to put together market pitches and presentations to pitch for business around the capital markets arena including deal activity and investor and market color around pricing and structure.
The role will also entail updating market slides and sales memos, as well as working with part of the ECM sales team to update market comps, trade flows, and investor sentiment.
The ECM VP/Director will also organize and attend industry conferences, creating content and overall market outreach; these could be PEP events or third-party conferences.
This role reports to the head of ECM and Research but will work closely with senior IB business leaders in the Energy Transition.
